Every now and again, I come across a nail polish find that I can’t help be shocked at. Kozmic Colours is a brand that fits that description. I bought a set of six mini polishes that were labelled ‘Sugar Cream’. All six were pastel colours, which I am not usually a very big fan of. Since I tend to prefer the big name brands, I figured I’d take a chance on this since it was $5 for all six polishes. I know I won’t wear these colours enough to justify full size bottles and if the formula was terrible, then I was only out $5.
The colours are not specifically named, other than the collection name. I have started calling this colour ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s’ and I think it’s the perfect name. I have longed for a Tiffany blue polish and this is it. The formula on these polishes is a little thicker than I am used to but with allowing drying time between coats, I found it was perfectly opaque in two coats. I used Seche Vite as a top coat and was really surprised that I didn’t get the shrinkage I am used to with more expensive brands. The wear time is pretty good, too. I had it on for four days with no chips or signs of tip wear.
I picked up this set at Dollarama and I believe it’s exclusively sold there.
