Every now and again I have a hard time with my nails. I live in an extremely dry climate which contributes to peeling, messy cuticles, and dry skin around the nails. Once my nails get to this point, I need to give them some intensive therapy, which includes cutting them down shorter than I love. I like to keep them polished for protection but I’m not a fan of bright or dark colours on short nails. That’s when I pull out one of my faithfully used nudes until I regain some length.
This week I had to do that and I reached for OPI’s Bubble Bath. It’s a milky, slightly pink sheer that you can build some opacity with three thin coats. There has been some debate in the nail polish community about what colour Bubble Bath is – pink or white. On my skin tone you could see the hints of pink but it’s very subtle. I love it because it’s not so nude that it’s clear but it’s also not very noticeable.
This polish is probably one of my most worn. I get so many compliments when I wear this colour.
