*Press Sample – Polish provided by makers in exchange for an honest review and photography*

I’m pretty excited to show you this review today. Two of my favourite brands from 2015 have joined forces and have designed an amazing polish box for the Holiday Season. This is going to be a picture heavy post. You can always tell how I feel about polish by the number of photos I post.

Frostbite

image

Frostbite is a baby blue polish with silver micro flakes.

image

I was really pleased with the application of this polish. Two thin coats gave me full coverage.

image

The silver flakes really gave this polish a unique finish.

First Snow

image

First Snow is a glitter topper filled with matte white hexes and circles with snowflakes and translucent gold iridescent circles.

image

I used one coat over Frostbite. I dabbed the glitter on the nail and then spread the polish.

I really love the addition of the gold. It gives the polish that extra oomph that I like, especially around the holidays.

Sugar Plum Spritzer

image

Sugar Plum Spritzer is a grape jelly polish filled with multicoloured flakes.

image

This was a really unexpected polish for a holiday box but I predict it will be a fan favourite. I loved everything about it.

image

I used two coats to get full opacity. And like every single flake polish I own, I needed to use a matte topcoat over it. I love the effect of a mattified flake polish.

Jingle Jangle Punch

image

Jingle Jangle Punch is a red holo jelly.

image

I can see this polish getting tons of use in the next month.  It’s the perfect holiday red.

image

I used three thin coats but could have gotten away with two.

The Top Shelf Lacquer/Midwest Lacquer Holiday Collaboration box will be available this Friday for the price of $40 USD with free shipping.  Free shipping to Canada is included in this offer, which I personally think is awesome.  It isn’t often that us Canadians get the opportunity to take advantage of the offers Americans get, so for that alone this box is a win.

Top Shelf Lacquer can be found at www.topshelflacquer.com while Midwest Lacquer can be found at www.midwestlacquer.com.

Will you be grabbing this box this week?  Which polish is your favourite?
