This is the halfway mark of Polish from a Picture!!  When I first started this experiment back in July, I figured if I could get 5 or 6 customs, it would be an interesting read.  I never thought I’d be lucky enough to get 20 makers to jump on board and help me make this a reality.  Philly Loves Lacquer is a brand I knew about but didn’t have any of.  Last month, I was a guest swatcher in the Hella Holo Customs Facebook group and I was lucky enough to be asked to swatch the PLL.  I LOVED Rock On, Harriett! and then asked Esther if she wanted to participate.  She readily agreed.

Last week, my blogging partner, Terra, posted her inaugural post for her series and introduced us to Rain or Shine, I’m Yours.  Along with my custom, Winter Wonderman, Esther has released as a duo of these polish.  While each polish was made to fit the inspiration of the photo, they work so well as a duo!  You can find the link to that at the bottom of this post.

Here is the photo of my husband that started it all.

Winter Wonderman

Winter Wonderman 2

Winter Wonderman is a light blue that leans slightly grey crelly filled with white hex and shard glitter and red microflakes.

Winter Wonderman 5

I really like the complexity of this polish.  The base colour is pretty bang on to the colour of the sky in the photo and I adore the microflakes.

Winter Wonderman 1

For the coverage you see here, I put on one thin coat and then dabbed a second coat on and then spread it.  It was a little thick, but I didn’t find it affected the polish, especially if you’re okay with dabbing.

Winter Wonderman 3

Winter Wonderman will be available on its own ($12 full / $6 mini) or as a part of a duo with Terra’s polish – Rain or Shine, I’m Yours.

Philly Loves Lacquer provided this polish free of charge in exchange for an honest review. You can check her out:
