Hold on to your seats because today I have a good one!!  I have a new-to-me indie (and a fairly new overall indie) featured today – Ladybug Lacquer.  Kimberly, the maker, has been working on this collection for a long time and it is really evident that she put a ton of time into making sure the formula of these cremes worked. And boy, did they ever!  The collection will feature six gorgeous cremes and a fun glitter topper.  I have three of the cremes and the glitter topper to show you today.

Chapped Lips

Chapped Lips 1

Chapped Lips is described as a ‘sweet, muted pink’ and was inspired by the maker’s favourite chapstick.  Nailed it!! This is exactly the colour I would think of when thinking of a lip balm.

Chapped Lips 2

I used two very thin coats for coverage.  If I had been a touch heavier handed, I might have been able to pull off one coat.  The formula of this was amazing!  Like, think high-end polish amazing!  The consistency is not too thick, but not so thin it floods your cuticles.  I have Marc Jacobs and Deborah Lippmann and Mac polishes that don’t touch the formula of this.

Chapped Lips 3

I love how the polish is so shiny that the camera is reflected in the polish!

Mulled Wine

Mulled Wine 2

That’s it!! Game over!! I’m done!  Mulled Wine is officially my favourite berry creme of all time.  Described as a ‘deep, glossy cranberry’ this polish is the perfect colour of fall.  Fall polish collections are always my favourites and a polish like this is exactly why. There’s just something classy about a good creme. Well, look no further.

Mulled Wine 3

I needed ONE coat to get the coverage you see here.  I usually throw on a second coat just for fun in case of patches the camera picks up and I knew it would be unnecessary with this one.  Like Chapped Lips, amazing formula.  You’d swear you were using designer polish.

Mulled Wine 1

This is probably my favourite photo ever!  No top coat, one coat of polish, and look at the camera reflected in the nail!  Ah-maz-ing!

Wicked Witch’s Candied Apple

The Witch's Candy Apple 2

Wicked Witch’s Candied Apple is described as a ‘delicious red’.  I think I would more describe it as a brown-leaning red or a brick red but it’s still perfect no matter how you describe it!  This is the quintessential fall polish and it’s completely unique to my collection.  I have nothing close.

The Witch's Candy Apple 3

Like her sisters, Wicked Witch’s Candied Apple has an amazing formula.  I used two thin coats, though I think I could have gotten away with just one.

The Witch's Candy Apple 1

Another super shiny polish!  I didn’t use a top coat and still managed to get this kind of shine!

Jump

Jump 2

Jump is the glitter topper that is paired with this collection.  It’s a mix of golden bronzed glitters mixed with iridescent shimmer.  It’s supposed to look like falling leaves and Kimberly nailed that too.  It looks exactly like what jumping in a pile of leaves would feel like.

Jump 1

This is one coat of Jump over Wicked Witch’s Candied Apple.  The glitter payoff for one coat is fantastic.
