Hi, I’m Ange. This is my first review for My Lacquer Cabinet. I am a relatively recent polish addict. Up until two years ago I had the awful habit of biting my nails down to the nail beds. I started wearing polish to break the habit and now have quite an extensive collection.  I love creme polishes and some shimmer. No sparkles here!  I typically go for purples: lavender & lilac for summer; vampy plum and wine shades for winter. Essie’s No More Film is a bit of a stretch for me as it is more blue than purple – but it is gorgeous! Granted – a little dark for August, but gorgeous! Dark navy with purple undertones. It is dark, inky, and moody – similar to the colour of a bic pen.

No More Film has a great formula. Amazing actually! It was perfectly opaque after 1 coat but I did 2 anyway  – just because I always do. This is my first time wearing NMF, but I have to say I AM IMPRESSED!

On my toes at the moment is a true favourite. Zoya Charisma. This colour is incredible! It reads as a hot pink in some lights and a rich magenta in others. I love it!
