Every Monday, I show a new polish that was created by an indie polish maker using a photo of my husband for inspiration. If you’re new to this series, the links at the bottom of this post will explain in more detail how this experiment came to be. Week 6 features Polish ‘M and Michelle’s take on the photo that she called Snow Day Fun. For reference, here is the photo I sent her:
Snow Day Fun
Snow Day Fun is a medium blue crelly with golden shimmer and red, blue, white, and silver glitter in different shapes and sizes. This week I
begged convinced my husband Will to get in on the fun.
I was really excited when I opened the package from Michelle. I have been loving all the polish from this series and it was so exhilarating to see one that was colourful. Since my husband loves blue, I managed to cajole him into participating with me by being a hand model. My favourite is how tiny the bottle looks in his hand compared to mine. You’d swear it was a mini bottle.
I used three thin coats of Snow Day Fun on my nails (and two thin coats on Will’s). I didn’t have any issues with glitter placement or dragging.
I really loved Michelle’s take on the photo. She really focused on the blue of the sweater and the golden shimmer is amazing (I love me some golden shimmer in polish so I feel like I was represented in there too).
Polish ‘M can be found here and a custom polish will cost you $10USD + shipping. Michelle provided the bottle of Snow Day Fun for me at no cost. If there is enough interest, she may consider releasing it at a later date.
What do you think of this week’s polish? Let me know in the comments.
