My Indie Polish is yet another amazing Canadian indie brand. The tanking Canadian dollar is really having an effect on my spending habits and it has driven me to take a closer look at what Canadians have to offer and I am liking what I am seeing. Between Echoes Polish, BlackLace Cosmetics, Girly Bits, Eat Sleep Polish, Mrs. P’s Potions, MTL Creations, and now My Indie Polish (plus more that I haven’t yet tried), I feel like Canadian indies really are offering the quality and variety that I am looking for in brands that I support. But I digress…..
When Tanya of My Indie Polish posted this polish on a swatch stick in her fan group I knew I was going to need it! Like NEED it. First of all, it’s called Northern Lights. I live in the Arctic of Canada. I see the real Northern Lights every single night. So yeah, soul mates.
Next, the colour. Look at that aqua. Look at those fun glitter. It looked like confetti and my nails like to party, so again, win-win.
The formula is a crelly with glitter and this isn’t a finish that I naturally gravitate towards, though, yesterday’s post and now this both feature crellies. Because I am not quite used to them yet, I had to figure out how to apply so that all the glitter doesn’t pool, but it wasn’t that difficult. I love how this basically looks like a pond mani with zero effort from me at all.
My Indie Polish is definitely a brand that you can expect to see featured more often here on My Lacquer Cabinet.
