Lollipop Posse Lacquer’s maker, Karen, offers mystery polish every now and again that she calls Little Lollipops. The idea is that they were prototypes which she’s decided against releasing widespread so she sells them as ‘one of a kind’ bottles. You have no idea what they will look like until they arrive. I grabbed a few the last time she released them. They are unnamed Lollipops.
Polish A is a bright violet purple with a blue micro flake. I really liked the colour. I found the formula a touch on the thicker side, though not impossible to work with. I do find when polishes are thicker my Seche Vite topcoat tends to shrink the polish, which I can see in my photos.
Polish B is a sky blue crelly filled with pink and white glitter and shimmer. As a crelly, I needed three coats to cover my VNL, but I do have a very long free edge and someone with shorter nails probably wouldn’t have to use three coats. This is such a fun colour. Removal was easy and I didn’t need to resort to the foil method. Plain old cotton pads worked fine.
Overall, I am happy with these mystery polishes. It’s a fun way to get to know a brand, especially at a reduced price point. Lollipop Posse Lacquer can be bought here.
Let us know in the comments what names you’d give Polish A and Polish B 🙂
