Hey guys! Today, I have somewhat of a self-indulgent post. It’s my fifth wedding anniversary and I decided to do a mani that is inspired by the day I got married.
Yellow is my all-time favourite colour but I don’t look great in the vibrant yellows I love. When planning my wedding, I knew I needed yellow in the colour scheme. I choose black, white, and sunny yellow.
As a base, I used b.i.t.c.h. by Jaclyn Haute. The H in the brand name stands for Haute and this is part of the Signature Collection. Haute is a pure black holo that covers in one coat. The holo in this one is so pretty and it doesn’t grey out the polish at all.
When searching for a glitter topper that I could wear for my anniversary, I had something specific in mind. One day, while perusing Lynderella’s Storenvy shop, Hard Boiled popped up. It was like she had taken what I had in my head and made it without me having said a word. It’s filled with yellow, white, and black glitters in a clear base with holo. It’s perfect.
This will be my go to mani every year on my anniversary. The colours will remind me if how happy I was that day.
