I was introduced to Octopus Party Nail Lacquer back in December 2014 when b.i.t.c.h. by Jaclyn released a duo with him.  You can find the review of Who’s Got Their Claus In You? here.  I was impressed with the formula and figured that if I had the chance, I’d grab a few more.  Turns out, most of the polish community felt the same way and OPNL has become a hot commodity.  I patiently bid my time until some were released.

Petal to the Metal was the polish that I was lusting over since the brand caught my eye.  When it was listed on Llarowe, I picked it up.  It turns out it’s everything I dreamed it would be.  PttM is the type of pink that works like a nude for me.  Beige/Tans don’t often flatter my skin tone, but soft pinks do.  The subtle holo and tiny little silver flakes really added an extra something.  Like my other OPNL, the formula was bang on.  Smooth and applied like a dream.  I like to use thin coats if I can, so I used 3 to ensure there’d be no visible nail line. You could probably get away with two coats if you use a heavier hand.

Octopus Party Nail Lacquer can be found at OPNL or on Llarowe. But be quick.  These babies don’t last long.
