A bit of a two for one today review today.

Summer is always the season of neons and bright colours and while I prefer to leave the neons for my pedicures (what can I say, I love bright toes!) I have been having more fun with my neons on my fingernail this summer.

Starting with these two beautiful polishes from China Glaze. I’ll be honest, I approached this year’s CG neon/brights collection with some trepidation. I personally found the formula on last summer’s collection terrible to work with. Well, that wasn’t the case this year. The formula was good and the colours are great.

The lighter of the two colours is Feel the Breeze, a light pink neon that’s super bright out in the sun. The first coat went on a bit streaky but the second coat solved any problems and was perfectly opaque. It was easy to work with and I didn’t have any problems with application.

The darker colour for the accent nail and dots on the thumb is Dune Our Thing, a bright fuchsia. It’s featured on it’s own in the second picture. The formula was a bit thinner than that of Feel the breeze but it was still a good formula. No application problems and opaque in two coats. The colour just pops and, as you can see, the two colours work really well together.

I bought five colours from this collection and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any one of them. Good job China Glaze!
