In The Cab-ana is from Essie’s 2013 Resort Collection and is by far one of the best Essie polishes you can buy. The formula is amazing, the colour is gorgeous, and the dry time is great. It is very similar to OPI’s Can’t Find My Czechbook, but the formula of this polish is so much better (which is shocking!). I also find the colour more vibrant then CFMC.
Full Steam Ahead is the second polish I’m reviewing from the 2013 Summer Collection that Essie recently released (the first being Naughty Nautical in my Friday Favourites post) and it’s another home run. Many of the My Lacquer Cabinet’s contributors find Essie’s light colours to have a poor, thin formula. This polish is an exception; completely opaque after two coats and not a streak to be seen. I’ve covered it with Be-Jeweled (from Sally Hansen’s Gem Crush line) and it is the perfect accent to this summer manicure!
