I am going to cheat and not show you a photo of my bare nails…..the past few weeks I have been changing my polish very frequently and not keeping up with my treatments and my nails are paying for it.  So instead I will show you some of my favorite products for my bare nails!

1. OPI Acetone Free Polish Remover
The “moisturizing aloe vera formula quickly and effectively removes all traces of nail lacquer.”  I love that this remover is acetone free since it is a little gentler on my nails.  This remover can purchased from Nail Polish Canada, http://www.nailpolishcanada.com

2. Sephora Instant Nail Polish Remover
On the label it says “it’s magic” and it really is!  I am amazed at how awesome this remover works. You just stick your fingers one at a time into the remover soaked sponge and twist until the polish comes off.   It is formulated without: parabens, sulfates, phthalates, GMOs and triclosan and can be purchased at Sephora, http://www.sephora.com.

3. Clean as Snow Cuticle Oil by Elevation Polish
This is a non-scented oil made exclusively for Elevation Polish. Cuticle Oil helps strengthen your nails and moisturize the surrounding skin and tissue.  This cuticle oil can be purchased at Elevation Polish, http://elevationpolish.bigcartel.com/

4. Nail & Cuticle Balm by Glisten & Glow
This is hands down my absolute favorite product!  I received it in my March A Box, Indied from Llarowe.  The scent I received is called “Pat O’Brien’s The Hurricane” and is exclusive to this box but other scents can be purchased directly from Glisten & Glow, http://glistenandglow.bigcartel.com/

Mine is a nice light fruity scent and super moisturizing without feeling greasy or oily on the skin.  The ingredients are: shea butter, jojoba oil, coconut oil, beeswax, sweet almond oil, castor oil, argan oil, vitamin e oil, acai berry botanical extract, grape seed oil, sunflower oil, tea tree oil and fragrance.

5. Feed Me by Essie
This is an “intense hydration treatment for dry, brittle nails.  Restores flexibility to end splitting and results in 50% more nourished nails in 5 days!”  This product is also DBP, toluene and formaldehyde free.  I have purchased this product online atwell.cahttp://well.ca

6. Glass Nail File by Wingdust
I got this one free with a polish order from WingDust, https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/WingDustCollections

I don’t file my nails much but when I do I always use a glass file.  They seal the keratin layers together at the edge of the nail, preventing peeling and chipping.
