Blood of the Mountain is from Pahlish’s 2013 Fall collection.  It is a slightly brown-leaning red with a linear holo and tiny gold micro flakies.  The cool thing about this polish is it looks completely different dependent on the lighting.  I reminds me slightly of OPI Extravagance and slighty of Zoya Blaze, although it is less purple than the former and less red than the latter.  It’s probably best described as a middle ground of them both.

I found the formula of this polish to be much thicker than I am used to.  I did my manicure as I always do and got some light dragging on the first coat.  The  second coat seemed to hide the imperfections, though, and in the end  I really do like this colour.
